The story between Unnikrishnan forest range officer and Thulasi, a village girl are in love and planning to get married but the police arrest Unnikrishnan as a suspected criminal because of the similarities with a wanted social activist. Yathra Malayalam movie climax is one of the best in Indian cinema.
